A Sit Spot is a place you go to observe nature. You form a relationship with your spot and a keen awareness of your surroundings. When you slow down to observe more detail meets the eye.
There are many benefits to a Sit Spot including developing more mindfulness, connection to a greater purpose and the earth. You can also use your Sit Spot for your internal healing process allowing nature to help you process your emotions and gain perspective on your life.
Today I walked into the woods, off the trail and sat. I did nothing, but look around and look inside.
